Faculty Positions in the Department of Microbiology

The Department of Microbiology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks highly qualified candidates for faculty positions in the Tenure track at the Full Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor ranks. Expertise is required in the specific area of bacteriology, virology and/or host pathogen interactions. Teaching responsibilities may include graduate and medical student courses. The selected candidates may be expected to serve on preliminary exam committees and thesis committees. Research or scholarship responsibilities may include the establishment of an independent, extramurally funded research program.

Applicants must have an M.D., Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree.

Assistant Professor
