Faculty position in Microbiology/Immunology

Applications are invited for tenured faculty position in the Department of Molecular Microbiology and Immunology at Brown University at the rank of Assistant Professor. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to Immunology, Immunology related diseases, tumor immunology, or mucosal immunity. Applicants should have a Ph.D. or M.D. degree, a strong publication record, and at least three years of postdoctoral training. Successful candidates will be expected to establish or have established an externally funded, independent research program that complements one or more research strengths of the existing faculty and the training program in Pathobiology of Infectious Disease and Host Defense. Candidates must show evidence of ability to maintain a productive, independent, externally-funded research program, and must demonstrate teaching excellence. Opportunities exist to interact with members of the Graduate and Postdoctoral Programs in the Division of Biology and Medicine. Academic advising of undergraduate, graduate students and medical students, and service to the Division of Biology and Medicine, are responsibilities assumed by all faculty members of the Department.
