The Department of Biochemistry and Microbiology in the Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine and the Marshall Institute for Interdisciplinary Research (MIIR) at Marshall University are seeking applicants for a tenure track joint appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.

Applicants must have a PhD, MD or equivalent degree and at least two years of postdoctoral experience. The successful candidate will establish a competitive, externally funded research program, participate in team teaching to medical and graduate students as assigned by the department chair, and provide service within the Department, Medical School and University.

Preference will be given to individuals with research interests and experience in the causes and treatment of chronic human diseases.
